Castlereagh Public School's statement of purpose is to recognise and strive for excellence in academic achievement, positive aesthetic, personal and social attitudes.
Castlereagh Public School is a small rural school where staff and pupils feel a sense of belonging and cared. A secure and caring environment enable children to establish self-esteem and sensitivity to others and the environment is enhanced where community participation is valued. Our school motto 'courtesy and good citizenship', reflects this statement.
In this school's semi-rural situation, we strive to enhance student’s overall confidence and develop each student as a unique person and a valued member of this community.
